The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and One Op will be hosting a webinar on Oct. 25 on the importance of proper diet and nutrition to help survive breast cancer.

OneOp, formerly the Military Families Learning Network, is a virtual professional development platform for providers who serve military families.The free webinar will be held from 10-11 a.m., and participants can register at https://tx.ag/OneOpBreastCancerNutrition. Once registered, participants will receive an email with instructions and a link to the event.

AgriLife Extension program specialist Rachel Brauner, Bryan-College Station, said the webinar will provide information on nutrition and lifestyle issues that can arise during breast cancer treatment and survivorship.

The content will provide strategies to help providers working with families to manage nutrition and lifestyle issues and give a review of current evidence on nutrition recommendations for breast cancer survivors.
