The Buccaneers earned a 26-24, 25-15, 25-13 victory for their 21st sweep of the season.
Blinn is now 28-2 overall with a 7-1 mark in the region standings.

“It was a nice road win for us,” said Bucs head coach Terry Gamble. “I thought Cierra Pesak did a great job on serve receive and defensively, and she made some really important plays for us tonight.”
Pesak, a freshman libero, shined for Blinn with a team-high 19 digs to go with 21 serve receives and a service ace.
The Buccaneer offense flourished behind the two-headed attack of sophomore outside hitter Jaedyn Newman and freshman right-side hitter Kellen Dorotik. The pair finished with 12 kills apiece. Sophomore middle blockers Taylor Glendening and Brooke Pattschull chipped in five and four kills, respectively. Freshman setters Elizabeth Tyner and Chloee Howard kept the Blinn attack in motion with 16 and 13 set assists, respectively. At the service line, sophomore libero/hitter Kaylen Kruse also had one ace alongside Pesak.

Aiding Pesak’s defensive efforts were freshman outside hitter Lexi Higgins (one solo block and one assist), Glendening (three block assists), and Dorotik (two assists).
Next up for the Bucs is Region XIV rematch against No. 11 Trinity Valley Community College. The two teams face off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, at the Kruse Center in Brenham, Texas. Blinn won the first meeting between the two teams 27-25, 25-15, 25-15 on Sept. 5 in Athens, Texas.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 44 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
