Rivals are set to face off one final time this season.
The eighth-ranked Blinn College baseball team hosts Region XIV South Zone adversary San Jacinto College-North in the best-of-three Region XIV Super Regional beginning Friday at Leroy Dreyer Field in Brenham, Texas.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
The two ballclubs will battle it out for a berth in the upcoming NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.
Game two is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, and game three will kick off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, if necessary.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors (cash only). Entrance is free for children 12 years old and younger and college students with a student ID.

The Buccaneers (40-15) and Ravens faced off seven times in the regular season, claiming three of those contests despite out-scoring San Jacinto 77-43. Blinn finished first in the South and went on to host and win the Region XIV South Regional Tournament, while the Ravens placed second in the South and won the North Regional Tournament.
“We’re looking forward to competing for a chance to go to Grand Junction,” Bucs head coach Dusty Hart said. “We know they’re a good team and they know we’re a good team, and we expect it to be a highly competitive series. We want to go out and play good baseball and let the cards fall where they may.”
