The Buccaneers (2-0) drilled 15 3s, led by five from sophomore guard and leading scorer Hannah Humphrey (25) points. Sophomore guard Skylar Barnes chipped in 16 points with four treys, sophomore forward Tiffany Tullis had 12 points and a pair of 3s, and sophomore guard Makayla Patterson sank a trio of triples to finish with nine points. Sophomore guard Crystal Smith had nine points while sophomore guard Jakoriah Long hit a 3-pointer and poured in eight points.

“We were very unselfish tonight and found the open player,” Blinn head coach Jeff Jenkins said. “We shot the ball extremely well. It was a good team win and all 11 players that got in made a positive impact. “

The Bucs led by just six at the end of the first quarter but took control in the second period for a 46-31 halftime advantage. Blinn’s lead swelled to 69-47 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Buccaneers continue their season on the road with a visit to South Plains College at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, at the Texan Dome in Levelland, Texas.
