Sophomore midfielder Cesar Cabrera scored two goals and four other Buccaneers found the back of the net for Blinn (6-3-1).
Freshmen Tom Hooper (midfielder) and Joe Loughnane (defender) had two assists apiece on a night the Buccaneers set a single-game program record with 12 assists.
The Buccaneers grabbed a 2-0 first-half lead on goals from Cabrera (assisted Mitchell Magana and Loughnane) in the 34th minute and freshman forward Bryson Bolton (assisted by Hooper and Kamille Kum) in the 37th minute.
Freshman forward Dafe Akpoguma (56th minute), freshman midfielder Jahdell Thomas (71st), freshman forward Joseph Ray (79th), and Cabrera (88th) all scored in the second half. Sophomore midfielder Joseph Boyce, freshman midfielders Claudio Zavala-Gonzalez, Alvaro Heredia-Garcia, and Julian Saldierna, freshman defender Brandon Gasca, freshman goalkeeper Finn Rushton, Hooper, and Loughnane all recorded assists on the second-half goals.
Blinn outshot the visitors 27-4 with an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Rushton made a single save for the Bucs and earned the win. Freshman Brandon Padilla played the final 18:30 of the match.
Blinn returns to play with a Region XIV matchup against Trinity Valley Community College at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Rankin Field.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
