Lawsuit Seeks To Block Lubbock’s Ordinance Aimed At Outlawing Abortions

A little more than 60% of voters supported the “sanctuary city for the unborn” ordinance in the May election, with about 34,300 people casting ballots. There are 179,800 registered voters in Lubbock County, though the ordinance was put to a citywide vote.
