If turnout is any indication…then the Sealy area LOVES the new Prasek’s Hillje Smokehouse! Prasek’s in Sealy, TX had their grand opening celebration yesterday and it continues through today (Saturday Sept. 30, 2017).
The celebration has plenty of free samples, giveaways and specials for everyone. For those who signed up, the grand prize drawing was a brand new BBQ pit.
Guests were greeted at the door with free sausage sandwiches on freshly baked rolls served on a Prasek’s logo emblazoned Frisbee they could keep. Then it was on to the registration table where there were plenty of free pens, pencils and koozies for visiting customers to have. Each customer was given a ticket for hourly drawings of prizes and were allowed to sign up for the grand prize which was a stainless BBQ pit.
Once inside Marvin the magician was keeping adults entertained with magic tricks and the kids with toy balloon animals. Prasek’s staff had a number of stations set up allowing visitors to sample some of the wonderful items that the store carries and fresh items that they cook in house. A few ladies circulated the store offering free samples of sweets from the Prasek’s bakery and the grill featured a special each day of the celebration. Friday’s big special at the grill was Rib-eye steak with 2 sides and today’s is BBQ Brisket with 2 sides (we had the steak yesterday and it was phenomenal!)
Prasek’s is a family run business and the family/owners were on hand to meet and greet all who came by.
