Description
The City of Sealy is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Service Center Technician. This team member must possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently with little supervision, and be able to prioritize their work load. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and security of the public works service center, performing moderate repairs to city vehicles and equipment, receiving and issuing material, maintaining inventory, and completing maintenance logs and reports. Minimum qualifications include: High School diploma or GED; a valid Texas Driver License (CDL is preferred) and an acceptable driving record; Completion of automotive trade school, preferred; One (1) year full time, paid experience in maintenance and repair of equipment, heavy machinery, automobiles, and diesel engines.
