Description
Blinn College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach non-credit phlebotomy courses at its Waller Campus.
What you'll do
- Support faculty with supply orders and respond to student questions and concerns.
- Prepare NHA testing information and distribute it to students with application codes.
What you'll bring
- Associate degree or higher in a healthcare field and three years of non-teaching work experience in the field.
- Current certification as a phlebotomist.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with learning management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, electronic medical records, and classroom, laboratory, and web-based delivery.
- Understanding of adult learning, including experience in curriculum design, student evaluation, and competency-based instruction.
- Ability to teach and evaluate hands-on skills in laboratory or clinical settings and update coursework to current industry standards.
- Ability to work with diverse populations; prior experience with adult learners in community college, vocational, or continuing education settings strongly preferred.
