Description
The Austin County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is currently seeking qualified applicants for current and future Certified Jailer positions.
Starting pay: $23.42/hour
Step Raises at 6 mo, 3yrs, 7yrs and 12yrs

Jailers work 12 hour shifts and work 15 days each month. Every other weekend off is a 3-day weekend.
Preference will be given to current or retired jailers seeking lateral entry.
Successful candidates must pass the ACSO comprehensive pre-employment background, which includes but is not limited written exam, medical exam, psychological exam, credit history, work history.
