Description
Join Valmont in Brenham to lead on-time delivery performance across the final stages of order fulfillment. This on-site, salaried role combines operational leadership with hands-on production-floor engagement to keep past-due and at-risk orders moving toward completion.
What you'll do
- Own facility delivery performance, maintaining visibility into order progress, constraints, and risks.
- Coordinate production, planning, quality, and shipping teams to remove barriers preventing on-time shipment.
- Implement real-time order tracking tools and standardize processes that improve final-stage execution and reduce delays.
- Monitor delivery performance indicators, drive continuous improvement, and escalate critical risks with recommended actions.
- Lead and support PDI Dispatchers or similar resources, if applicable, while partnering with site leadership.
What you'll bring
- Preferred education/experience pathways: bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; associate degree with 8+ years; or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, and drive accountability and results.
- Strong analytical, root-cause problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting tools, including translating data into actionable improvements.
- Prior leadership, process improvement implementation, and knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles preferred.
- Work involves frequent walking and standing throughout the facility, with occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
