Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Clerk Associate to join our team at Star Cleaners in Bellville, TX. As a Front Clerk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their orders and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the establishment and assist them with their inquiries.
• Receive and process customer orders for dry cleaning services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide information to customers regarding pricing, services offered, and any promotions or discounts available.
• Inspect garments for any stains or damages, and communicate findings to customers as necessary.
• Operate cash register and handle payments from customers, including processing credit card transactions and providing receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area and lobby space.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of customer orders.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the business.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to learn and grow
• Flexibility to work weekdays and some Saturdays.
• Morning shift hours means you will be opening the store and someone else will be responsible for closing
• Evening shift hours means you will be responsible for close out for the day.
• Our hours of operations are M-F 7:00AM to 6:00PM and Saturdays 8:00AM to 1:00PM.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy items. Some clients have large orders and orders are hung therefore requiring lifting and handling of some heavy orders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
