Full job description
Hermann Alarms, LLC, a Local Security and Fire Alarm Company and Service Company with over 10 Years in the Industry is currently seeking Qualified, Licensed Security and/or Fire Alarm Technicians to help run existing and upcoming security and fire alarm construction jobs in the Brenham - Bryan/College Station Area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Management of new and existing security and fire alarm construction jobs from planning stage to completion.
- Perform maintenance service calls as needed.
- Respond to and assess emergency service or warranty calls.
- Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment for all construction and service jobs.
- Will be leading the work of others, including subs, to complete projects and service calls.
- Maintain good relationship with Project Managers and Property Managers.
- Liaison with vendors, subs and main office in scheduling and ordering material and labor in order to complete projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Applicants should have, at the minimum, a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) or NICET Lvl 1 or equivalent certification (or higher) or work to get this ASAP.
- 4+ Years of experience in the Low Voltage field. (Access Control, CCTV, and A/V experience is a plus.
- Be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Be willing to take direction and complete necessary documentation for all jobs or company related requirements..
- Be able to work alone to finish projects as needed.
- Be able to work with other employee's and subs to maintain a good working relationship in order to efficiently schedule needed work.
- Be able to establish a good relationship with new and existing customers and maintain good communication.
- Be proficient in hand tools as well as all other trade specific tools and equipment.
- Be organized, reliable and self-motivated.
- Experience in other low voltage fields (Security/Burglar Alarm, Audio/Visual, Phone/Data/CATV, etc.) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Fire Alarm: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Tech (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Brenham, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
