At Burger King, Deli Cook are accountable for meal preparation tasks such as cooking and plating food orders in compliance with the restaurant's set rules.

They perform their duties with the utmost priority on speed, efficiency, and precise cooking.

Responsibilities:
• Properly storing food before use is essential to prevent contamination or spoilage. Food should be stored in airtight containers, refrigerated or frozen if necessary to maintain freshness.
• Cook menu items in coordination with the other kitchen personnel.
• See to it that the courses are served at the same time, with exceptional quality and in a timely manner.
• Become proficient in the safe and efficient operation of standard kitchen equipment to enhance your culinary skills.
• Sustain a fresh kitchen and frequently sanitize all areas of your work environment while you re working.
• The restaurant's recipes and presentations are designed to meet the expectations of the customers, hence it's important to follow them.
• Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ordering new supplies as needed.

Qualifications:
• Established history of professional cooking, having served as a cook or prep cook in restaurant environments.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils can also give you the opportunity to experiment with different cooking techniques and styles.
• Precision is key in any task that requires a strong attention to detail.
• Excelling in challenging work settings and taking the lead in a rapid environment is a strength.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is a requirement, and those with a culinary school background may have an edge.
