He earned high praise as an “absolute warrior” from Bucs head coach Michael McBride for putting on what the coach described as a header clinic in a Region XIV Tournament victory over Jacksonville College.
The Buccaneers finished the season with a 13-7-2 record and reached the Region XIV Tournament for the fifth time in program history. Their win over Jacksonville was the program’s first-ever playoff victory. The 13 victories are a single-season program record.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
