On October 6, the FA Lady Knights volleyball team traveled to Legacy Prep and came away with a win – 25-9, 25-4, and 25-7. Rachel Sisson (Bellville) led the team with eight aces. Brianna Kasprowicz (Bellville) served four, and Alex Newcomb (Hempstead) and Hannah Taake (Bellville) each had two aces. Kasprowicz had two kills. Megan Flores (Sealy) and Olivia Catlett (Alleyton) added one kill each. Catlett also had one block. On October 7, the Lady Knights defeated Brenham Christian, 23-25, 25-13, 25-21, and 25-13. Brianna Kasprowicz had three kills and Julia Catlett (Alleyton) had two. Olivia Catlett and Rachel Sisson each added one. Megan Flores served two aces, J. Catlett and Kasprowicz each served one ace. Defensively, the Lady Knights had three blocks. Kasprowicz contributed two and Sisson had one. Sisson also added one dig. On October 14, hosted by Conroe Lifestyles the Lady Knights pounded out a 25-14, 25-14, 25-20 win. Rachel Sisson served up two aces. Megan Flores, Brianna Kasprowicz and Jasmyn Trejo (Sealy) each had one. Kasprowicz led with three kills and one block. Julia Catlett and Alex Newcomb each had two kills. Flores and Sisson added one kill each. On October 16, the Lady Knights swept past Bryan Still Creek 25-17, 25-1, 25-13, and ended the evening 9-0 in district play. From the service line, Megan Flores had three aces, and Abigail Froelich (Bellville) had two. Julia Catlett, Olivia Catlett and Rachel Sisson each had one ace. Sisson had three kills. Brianna Kasprowicz and Alex Newcomb added two each, and J.Catlett had one. The Lady Knights close out district play Tuesday, October21, hosting Brenham Christian.
