The Faith Academy Jr. High Knights stormed the field this week with a statement win, defeating their opponent 45–12 in a showcase of grit, teamwork, and sheer determination. Every snap of the game demonstrated how this young team continues to mature and gel, combining explosive offense with hard-hitting defense that left fans cheering from start to finish.

Leading the charge was quarterback Cooper Harvie, who put on a clinic in both passing and running the football. Harvie connected for three touchdowns through the air and added another with his legs, controlling the pace and momentum of the game from the opening drive. His poise under pressure and ability to find open receivers set the tone for what became one of the Knights’ most complete performances of the season.

Of course, no offense succeeds without strength in the trenches — and this week, the Knights’ offensive line was dominant. The group gave Harvie time to operate and created wide-open running lanes that kept the chains moving. At the heart of that effort was Jones Garza, who played with power, precision, and focus. Garza didn’t allow a single pressure the entire game, proving to be a wall of protection and earning the title of Offensive Player of the Week.

On the other side of the ball, the Knights’ defense made its presence felt early and often. Landyn Eberly was a force in the middle, racking up double-digit tackles and setting the tone with his physical play. His relentless pursuit of the ball carrier kept the opposing offense in check throughout the game. Yet it was Graydon “G Baby” Gaylord who stole the spotlight defensively, notching two sacks, including a crucial one on a third down that halted a potential scoring drive. His energy and timing earned him Defensive Player of the Week honors.

From kickoff to the final whistle, every player contributed to the Knights’ success. The coaching staff praised the team’s discipline, communication, and focus — qualities that have become the foundation of Faith Academy’s growing football program.

As the season continues, the Jr. High Knights are proving they’re a team to watch. With strong leadership, balanced play, and an unshakable team spirit, they’re building momentum and confidence heading into the next matchup. The Faith Academy community can be proud — their Knights are charging full speed ahead.
