The Texas Master Gardeners of Bexar County will host their semi-annual educational seminar, CULTIVATE!, March 18-19. Texas Master Gardener is a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service program.
The earth-friendly gardening and landscaping webinar will be from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on March 18 and from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on March 19.
The event is free, but registration is required at https://tx.ag/BXMGCultivate.
Workshop speakers will be AgriLife Extension specialists and agents, and Master Gardeners.
“We will once again offer this program online, so you can learn from the comfort of your own home,” said Anna Vogler, water conservation coordinator for Bexar County Master Gardeners. “For spring, we offer seven workshops on a variety of horticultural topics for our participants.”
Each session is an hour in length with 45-50 minutes of presentation and 10-15 minutes of questions and answers.
“This is our ninth CULTIVATE!, and each time we offer new topics as well as some of our popular favorites,” Vogler said. “Last year, we had workshops with over 200 online attendees. Participants may choose which workshops to watch.”
San Antonio Water System customers can earn one WaterSaver reward point for each session they attend. A total of seven reward points and $150 in coupons to local nurseries can be earned by attending the event.
