Countywide polling that took place for the Saturday, May 7th election was a success, especially considering this was its inaugural first try. Election’s Official Kim Rinn at commissioner’s court on Monday expressed that she felt the election went well with the overall participation and feedback being overwhelmingly positive.
2776 participated in the election coming to a little over a 13% participation rate in the county of the 20,599 eligible voters.
Sealy, Sealy ISD, City of Wallis and Bellville ISD participated in the countywide election while the City of Bellville and the Town of San Felipe decided to conduct their elections separately. For those unfamiliar with countywide voting we covered the topic in this article.
