Construction Equipment Theft Ring Arrested

The Austin County Sheriff’s Department released the following details on the arrest of an construction equipment theft ring who had stolen equipment in Houston, Liberty County, Waller and Ft. Bend Counties.  The following adult males were arrested at the scene for possession of stolen property: Felix CLAVELO; Ernesto VALDIVIA; Kadel CAMPIONIS; Alien VALLE. The case remains under investigation by Austin County Sheriff’s Office investigators.  The press release is as follows:

“On Tuesday May 17, 2022, the Austin County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service regarding the possible location of stolen property at 3449 Oil Field Road, Bellville, Texas. The owner of the stolen construction equipment was in contact with Ft. Bend County Sheriff’s investigators who eventually contacted the Austin County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival at the location, Austin County Sheriff’s deputies immediately located the stolen equipment. Austin County investigators arrived at the scene to assist and located numerous stolen items to include a mini excavator, John Deere tractor, cargo trailer, Kubota RTV, Kubota skid-steer, utility trailers, various generators and construction equipment. The items were reported stolen in Houston, Liberty County, Waller and Ft. Bend Counties. The following adult males were arrested at the scene for possession of stolen property: Felix CLAVELO; Ernesto VALDIVIA; Kadel CAMPIONIS; Alien VALLE. The case remains under investigation by Austin County Sheriff’s Office investigators.”
