In celebration of Valentine’s Day businesses on the square in Bellville will hold the fourth annual Chocolate Walk on Thursday, February 12. Featured will be delectable items such as chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne lemonade at Amy’s Unique Boutique or homemade goodies from the other businesses participating.  “Some of the items businesses have had in the past are chocolate cupcakes, homemade chocolate candies or several varieties of chocolate dipped fruit,” stated Amy Appelt, owner of Amy’s Unique Boutique.

There are 19 businesses taking part. A Blast From the Past, Alternatives, Amy’s Unique Boutique, Bellville Chamber of Commerce, Buck Fergeson Originals, Coco and Duckie, Cottonwood Cottage, Diva Girls Boutique, Farm to Market, First National Bank, Four Roses Antiques, Holland St. Gallery, Lanzano Leather, Inc., Michele Jewelry, Nothing Ordinary, Rocking B Cowboy Supply, Southern Trends, Spirit Tee’s and Treasure Crafts each business will be marked with red balloons.

The Chocolate Walk begins at 12pm and will end at 8pm.  When you visit each store, pick up your chocolate treats and have at least 10 stores stamp your card for a chance to win part of a $950 shopping spree.  There will be 25 lucky winners this year.  Cards are available at all participating merchants.
