Despite the hot shooting of San Jacinto College-North, Blinn College women’s basketball was able to hold on to its lead in the fourth quarter for a 72-70 victory Saturday afternoon inside the P.E. Building.

Blinn College men’s basketball was in position to take the lead away from Bossier Parish Community College in the final minute but was unable to get a couple key stops in a 96-92 loss Wednesday night inside the P.E. Building.

Blinn College women’s basketball essentially went back and forth with Panola College up until the final four minutes when the Buccaneers were able to pull away for an 84-76 victory Wednesday night inside the P.E. Building.

Blinn College men’s basketball didn’t take a lead in the overtime period until the final 11 seconds when Jarius Kesee knocked in a basket and that would be enough to beat Paris Junior College 73-71 in overtime Saturday night.

After a sluggish first quarter, Blinn College women’s basketball found an offensive rhythm and was able to pull away from Bossier Parish Community College for an 84-71 victory Saturday afternoon inside the P.E. Building.
