Blinn College men’s basketball had to shake off a little rust from the holiday break but had enough down the stretch for a 97-89 victory over the Houston Gladiators Monday night inside the P.E. Building.

Blinn College women’s basketball was able to recover after a slow start in the first quarter to come back and claim a 71-68 victory over Hill College in its first game of the McLennan Community College tournament in Waco.
