Blinn College softball team kicked off the National Preview Tournament in Oxford, Ala., with two impressive wins, defeating John A. Logan College 6-5 and Central Alabama Community College 8-4. Sophomore Alyssa Boozy’s two-run home run and freshman Darian DeLeon’s sacrifice fly were crucial in the comeback win against John A. Logan, while freshman Haley Hughes stole home and Alayna Calvillo hit an inside-the-park homer in the victory over Central Alabama.
