Bellville Brahmas Fall Short Against Celina Despite Strong Offensive Effort
The Bellville Brahmas fought hard in their season opener but fell short against the Celina Bobcats, losing 49-30. Senior Dd Murray led Bellville with 143 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Dj Sanders anchored the defense with 13 tackles and two sacks. Despite a strong third-quarter surge, the Brahmas couldn’t hold off Celina’s relentless offense in the second half.

Bellville High School Track Team Shines at District Meet
The Bellville High School track team excelled at the district meet, with several athletes and relay teams qualifying for the Area meet. Led by standout performances from DJ Sanders, Zamarion Thomas, and Allyson Skeen, the Brahma and Brahmanette athletes showcased their talent and determination on the track and in the field. They now look ahead to the upcoming meet, aiming to continue their success and advance further in the competition.

Bellville High School FFA’s Forages team clinched 1st place and the Landscape team secured 2nd place at the Cypress Creek Invitational Career Development Events. Individual members also shone with top rankings, including Layne Malinowski’s 2nd place in Landscape and James Schumann’s 4th place in Forages.
