BAYTOWN, Texas – The Blinn College volleyball team rallied to top Lee College, 3-2, on Friday night in Baytown.
The Buccaneers came out on top against Lee by the score of 22-25, 25-12, 22-25, 25-9, and 15-9 to remain undefeated in conference with a 5-0 record.
“It is always tough on the road,” said Kalie Mader, Blinn head coach. “I am proud they fought through and won in five.”
The Buccaneers were down 2-1 in the match before finishing strong with a 16-point victory to even the match 2-2, and coming up with a 15-9 win in the fifth set.
The Buccaneers have won six straight matches to hold a 14-3 overall record.
On Friday, Sept. 29 the Buccaneers will compete against Monroe College at 2 p.m. and Tyler Junior College at 4 p.m. in two non-conference matches at the Tyler Junior College Invite.
