The Blinn College men’s soccer team earned a 26-0 home victory over Pflugerville FC on Sunday at Rankin Field inside Hohlt Park in Brenham, Texas.
The victory pushed the Buccaneers’ overall record to 6-1. Blinn has now won five consecutive matches, one shy of matching the program record.
The Buccaneers get back to work starting with their Region XIV opener against Northeast Texas Community College at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, at Rankin Field. Blinn has a six-match winning streak against the Eagles and is 7-3 overall against NTCC.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 44 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
