After falling behind in the first game of the best-of-five series, the Buccaneers rebounded for three straight wins to seal the outcome.
Competing for Blinn were freshmen Andrew Askins and Jordan Johnson alongside sophomore Cade Mock.
The Bucs’ Rocket League squad is 3-0 this season.
Also earning a victory Monday was Blinn’s Valorant team. The squad defeated University of Houston Alpha 2-1 and improved to 2-1 on the year.

Up next, Rocket League will take on Rochester University at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17. Valorant resumes its season with a tilt against University of Central Florida Knights Rising at 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10. Blinn esports will see action again this week when its Super Smash Bros team battles Texas Wesleyan University at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6.
