“We played well tonight in a decisive win,” Blinn head coach Aaron Kapiko said. “We have our sights set very high this season for the national tournament and a possible title run with this team. We will continue to work each week and improve in pursuit of that goal.”

The Buccaneers will resume their season with an Overwatch match against Hocking College at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, as well as a Rocket League match against Alpen Community College at 6 p.m., also Friday. The Valorant team returns to play with a tilt against Catawba Valley Community College at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 3.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
