The Blinn College women’s basketball team got back to its winning ways with a decisive 80-30 Region XIV road victory over Jacksonville College on Tuesday in Jacksonville, Texas.
The Buccaneers (16-6, 6-2 Region XIV) controlled the action from the outset, dominating the first quarter to the tune of a 24-3 cushion. Blinn led 42-11 at halftime and 53-16 heading into the fourth period.
“It was a good bounce-back win for us after our loss to Kilgore College on Saturday night,” Bucs head coach Jeff Jenkins said. “All 11 of our players got to score and played plenty of minutes.”
