The Blinn College esports team earned a victory in the NJCAA Esports Overwatch playoffs Friday, defeating Trinity Valley Community College 3-0 in the round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals.
The Buccaneers face the winner of Northwest College and Johnston Community College on Friday, Dec. 9.
Starting for Blinn in its best-of-five victory over Trinity Valley were sophomores William Bowman, William Rossley, George Francis, and Aaron Lazo, as well as freshman Ezekiel Bernheim.
