The two-time national champion Blinn College esports team is excited to announce tryouts for new and current students.ย
Prospective players can earn a spot on one of Blinn’s six gaming teams for the fall semester, and players will have an opportunity to earn scholarships.ย
Each tryout will take place online from 5-7 p.m. on the following dates:ย
- Valorant โ Wednesday, Aug. 14; ย
- Overwatch โ Thursday, Aug. 15; ย
- League of Legends โ Friday, Aug. 16; ย
- Rocket League โ Monday, Aug. 19;
- Call of Duty โ Tuesday, Aug. 20;
- Super Smash Bros and supplemental dates โ Wednesday, Aug. 21, through Friday, Aug. 23.ย
Supplemental dates will be announced for students to try out in person at one of Blinn’s three on-campus arenas or through the Blinn esports discord channel. Blinn’s state-of-the-art arenas are located at Blinn-Bryan Campus, Room D-139; on the Blinn-Brenham Campus inside Mill Creek Hall; and in the Blinn RELLIS Administration Building at Texas A&M-RELLIS.ย ย
