The Bucs picked up their second conference win to move to 2-2. All of their games this season have been conference matchups. Blinn has now won two straight games after starting the season 0-2.
Head coach Michael McBride said Blinn picked up three crucial points in the race for a conference playoff spot.
“It was a complete performance,” said McBride. “I was so happy for the team. Those three points are really crucial to making the playoffs.”
Assistant coach Alexandria Jackson called Wednesday’s win “a complete victory.”
“It was an example of the potential this team has. When all the players show up and play as a team, great things can be accomplished,” Jackson said.
The Bucs will travel to Angelina College for a 5 p.m. conference game Saturday.
