Christmas morning in the 70’s. Huge box under the tree. Wrapping paper shredded as you unveil the glorious Big Wheel delivered by none other than Santa HIMSELF! It was almost impossible to wait as Dad put it together. 
Mom yelled a reminder to put on a coat as you bolted outside to try it out. Your first attempt at drifting may not have been successful but it wasn’t long before you got the hang of turning the wheel and applying the break to make amazing arcs as you drifted past your friends! There aren’t many who don’t remember days spent riding on their Big Wheel. The sadness we felt when we were too big for the toy trike still lives on in our hearts.
Feel sad no more! SFD Industries in Winston Salem, NC has adult Big Wheel Trikes! August Agner is the guy who started the company and he is one of the welders and fabricators and these aren’t your run of the mill trikes. From their website:
