The Bellville FFA had a successful week at the Klein FFA Alumni Career Development Events (CDEs) on Friday, January 27, 2023. Several teams placed in the top 5, showcasing the hard work and dedication of the Bellville FFA members.
The Forages team took home the first place trophy, with Jack Luedeker earning first place, Gentrie Peschel taking third place, Kash Krueger coming in fourth, and James Schumann placing ninth. The Milk Quality team also did well, placing fourth overall. Tegan Peschel placed fifth in this event.
In the Floriculture event, the Bellville FFA team placed fifth, with Lydia Huebner earning first place. Although the Nursery/Landscape team did not place as high, coming in at eighth, they should be proud of their hard work and efforts. The Poultry team placed fourteenth overall.
The Tractor Tech team also had a great week, advancing from the Area XI contest to the STATE contest, which will take place in early March. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to their skills and knowledge.
The Bellville FFA would like to extend their heartfelt congratulations to all of their teams that competed this week. They are excited to see how they will perform in the upcoming CDE season. The hard work and dedication of the Bellville FFA members is truly inspiring, and they are sure to have a successful future ahead of them.
