The Bellville Brahma High School Varsity Girls Soccer team faced off against the Sealy Tigers Girls Varsity Soccer team in a home conference game on Friday, and came out on top with a thrilling 2-1 victory in a shootout.

The match was a highly contested affair, with neither team able to find the back of the net in regulation time. The score remained 0-0 at the end of the first and second halves, setting the stage for a dramatic shootout to determine the winner.

In the shootout, Bellville came out strong and took the lead with two successful attempts, while Sealy could only manage one goal. This was enough to secure the victory for the Brahma girls and give them the boost they needed to push forward in the conference.

Unfortunately, no stats were provided for the Bellville players on MaxPreps, so we cannot give a full rundown of their performance in the match. However, we do have stats for the Sealy players, with Julieta Villagomez (Jr) scoring 1 PKG (penalty kick goal) and 1 PKA (power, kick accuracy) and Camarie Santos (Jr) recording 4 saves, 1 PK save (penalty kick save), and 5 PKA. With this win, Bellville now holds a 2-5 overall record, a 1-0 district record, and a .286 win percentage. Meanwhile, Sealy has a 5-5 overall record, a 0-1 district record, and a .500 win percentage.
