Four New World Records Set at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Junior Market Poultry Auction saw record-breaking prices as generous donors purchased the state’s best poultry. Kamryn Till broke a world record by selling her Grand Champion Junior Market broilers for $300,000, and Gage Wilson broke last year’s world record by selling his Reserve Grand Champion Junior Market Broilers for $175,000. Tyler John set a new world record by selling his Grand Champion Junior Market Turkey, Boss Hogg, for $200,000, with all donors stating they supported the event to help give back to the kids and provide them with opportunities to advance.
