AUSTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
On Thursday, February 10, 2022, at approximately 0600 hours, The Austin County led, Westside Narcotics Task Force executed a search and arrest warrant at 1750 CR 218 in Weimar, Texas. This operation was the culmination of a months- long investigation involving methamphetamine trafficking. Due to the dangerous nature of this operation, the Austin County Special Response Team executed the warrants and arrested Amos STANCIK (04/12/1992) for Conspiracy and Possession with the intent to distribute Methamphetamine. All of these charges were the result of a federal grand jury indictment. Investigators discovered numerous weapons including assault rifles and suspected silencers, as well as a small amount of marijuana. STANCIK was eventually transported by Federal agents to the Federal Courthouse in Houston for arraignment. Also on this date, Investigators and members of the US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested Zachary WISNOSKIE (03/29/2001) at his residence on Stokes Rd in Fayetteville, Texas for Conspiracy and Possession with the intent to distribute Methamphetamine related to this investigation. WISNOSKIE was also transported to the Federal Courthouse in Houston. This investigation was conducted jointly with the Westside Narcotics Task Force, the Colorado County District Attorney’s offices, as well as the Colorado County Sheriff’s department. The Austin County SRT is comprised of members from the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville PD, Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, Austin County Constable PCT 2, Sealy PD, and the Washington County Tactical Medical EMS. The Westside Narcotics Task Force is comprised of investigators from the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville PD, Sealy PD, Hempstead PD, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
