The Animal Control Officer (ACO) responded to a call about abandoned puppies in dire straits. A sealed plastic tote container was found in a driveway, containing several young puppies left without access to food or water.
ACO Grisham acted swiftly, taking custody of the abandoned puppies and transporting them to the city pound for immediate care. Thankfully, all but two of the puppies have since been adopted into loving homes.
Austin County authorities are now collaborating with the Austin County Crime Stoppers to locate the individuals responsible for this incident.
