The Blinn College esports varsity Overwatch team earned a 3-0 win over Louisiana Tech University Monday.
Competing for the Buccaneers were Gabriel Lopez, William Rossley, George Francis, Khalil Johnson, Pierce Ray, Hayden Evans and Ahmed Khalil.
The Overwatch team is now 6-1 on the year.
The varsity Rocket League was postponed. Junior varsity Rocket League also did not play as it is on a bye week this week.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
