Citizens State Bank (CSB) is expanding its presence into Austin County with the opening of a new Loan Production and Deposit Production office in downtown Bellville.
Located at 25 N. Bell Street, the new office will officially begin accepting customer appointments on June 8, 2026, providing residents and businesses with convenient access to banking services focused on lending, deposit accounts, and financial guidance.
The Bellville location marks Citizens State Bank’s first office in Austin County and represents a significant milestone in the bank’s continued growth across Central Texas.
Founded in 1925, Citizens State Bank has served Texas communities for more than a century. The locally owned and operated community bank currently maintains full-service branches in Somerville, Deanville, Caldwell, Brenham, Snook, Navasota, and Burton, serving customers throughout Burleson, Washington, and Grimes counties. The Bellville office extends that service area into Austin County while maintaining the bank’s focus on personal relationships and local decision-making.

The Bellville office will offer appointment-based services where customers can meet directly with banking representatives to discuss deposit accounts, consumer loans, mortgage lending, commercial lending opportunities, and other financial needs. Customers will also be able to initiate loan applications, complete required documentation, and submit materials for processing through the new location.
While the office will provide a local point of contact for banking consultations and account services, traditional cash transactions will continue to be conducted at Citizens State Bank’s full-service branch locations. Customers will also have access to the bank’s digital and online banking platforms.

To celebrate the opening, Citizens State Bank will host a Meet & Greet on Tuesday, June 9, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Huff Brewing Company. Community members are invited to attend, meet members of the banking team, and learn more about the products and services offered by the bank.
