Job Description: Warehouse Operator

Primary Duties of Warehouse Operators:

Warehouse Operators are responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. They load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles, and they also receive, inspect, and verify incoming products:
• Safely loading and unloading shipments from trailers or containers is a essential aspect of transportation logistics that cannot be overlooked
• Arrange the items in the designated spots to ensure optimal utilization of space
• Follow directed instructions to move goods from one location to another effectively
• Ensure that products are pulled and prepared for shipping on time according to the schedule with precision
• Utilize all equipment in a manner that is both safe and effective, in accordance with established work procedures
• OSHA and MSDS regulations govern workplace safety and the handling of hazardous materials
• Maintain and examine the forklift or other machinery daily to carry out small repairs and adjustments
• Ensure that the warehouse and loading areas are kept tidy and in good condition
• Enroll in training and developmental workshops to expand understanding of warehouse operations and procedures

Warehouse Operator Requirements:
• Two to five years of current employment history
• Capability in English reading, writing, and verbal communication is a must
• One must demonstrate self-motivation and exceptional interpersonal abilities to meet the job requirements
• Basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division can be easily carried out by individuals who possess the requisite skills
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential for success in this role
• Possessing a certification for operating Class IV or Class V Forklifts is highly recommended
• It is essential to hold a legitimate driver's license and successfully undergo a pre-employment screening procedure that encompasses a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
