MATHESON is one of the nation’s leading bulk suppliers of liquefied gases. MATHESON CDL-A Local Drivers haul liquefied gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, and Carbon Dioxide. We deliver primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors, and various government agencies.
General Employee Expectations:
-You will ensure chemical trailer and pack fleet are maintained in optimal working condition while minimizing out of service time.

Responsibilities:
-To know, understand and accurately follow all applicable SOP’s
-Meet all applicable efficiency requirements
-Roll/handle cylinders (larger sizes 450 & up)
-Safely and correctly use tools
-Learn to assemble/disassemble bulk trailers
-Learn to assemble/disassemble 10 packs
-Assist Level II and Level III Trailer Gas Technicians
-Keep work area clean and organized
-Perform other duties as assigned
Specific Requirements (training, education, certification)
General knowledge of hand and power tools
Knowledge of safe work practices
Basic mechanical abilities
Ability to read English
Good communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work extended shifts
Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions
Near far depth perception and peripheral vision are commonly used
Ability to hear in a noisy background
Manual dexterity, motor coordination, and physical stamina are critical elements of the job
Ability climb on and off trailers as well as working underneath trailers
Required PPE
Nomex uniforms
Metatarsal protection boots
Approved safety glasses
Gloves
Face Shields as needed
Chemical aprons and gloves as needed
Hearing protection as needed
Raincoats as needed
