Four Arrested Following Road Sign Shooting Incident in Austin County
Four individuals were arrested on Sunday, October 6, 2024, after deputies with the Austin County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of road sign shootings near Tiemann Road and Highway 159 West. The suspects, found with firearms and alcohol in their vehicle, face various charges, including criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. One of the suspects, Asher James, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant related to the theft of vehicles.
