The Yellow Rose Boot Scoot, an annual fundraising event, is set to bring music, dancing, and community spirit to The Kenney Store on April 26, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. More than just a night of entertainment, this event serves a vital mission: funding research to combat inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), a rare and aggressive form of the disease.

What is Inflammatory Breast Cancer? Inflammatory Breast Cancer is a rare but extremely aggressive type of breast cancer that occurs when cancer cells block the lymph vessels in the skin of the breast. The condition is called “inflammatory” because it often causes the breast to appear red, swollen, and inflamed. Due to its rapid progression, early detection and medical research are crucial in improving treatment options and survival rates.

About the IBC Network The IBC Network, founded by Terry Lynn Arnold, is dedicated to funding research and raising awareness about inflammatory breast cancer. As a survivor of IBC, Arnold established the organization to address the lack of information and research funding for this aggressive disease. The network has since played a crucial role in supporting medical advancements and providing resources for those affected by IBC.
