***UPDATE 12:25 PM Saturday, January 25th, 2025***

From the Bellville Police Department Facebook page:ย

Update: 1-25-25, 9am
Recently obtained video information on escape prisoner Salvador Saucedo, shows that his last known location was the 800 block of North Granville in Bellville at approximately 7:30 pm on the night of his escape, Thursday, 1-23-25.
Saucedo was traveling north bound on North Granville, in the direction of Centerhill Road and away from the Clark Park area. It is still unknown of his location at this time. There has been no recent โ€œconfirmedโ€ sightings reported to our agency, nor any other camera footage reported other than the night of his escape. There have been โ€œpossibleโ€ sightings in other areas of the county and other outside counties as well, but none have been confirmed. So it has been approximately 38 hours (time of posting) since his last confirmed sighting.
We can not confirm with 100 percent certainty if he is, or is not, within our city limits or even within our county at this time, so we will continue to search. In saying that, as the hours and days pass, with no new confirmed sightings since shortly after he escaped, it is looking less likely that he is still within the city limits of Bellville.
If you do see him, please dial 911. Please remember to keep your homes, vehicles and outdoor buildings secure, especially at night. Thatโ€™s just a good practice in general.
We will continue to keep the public up to date, but with no new sightings or information of his whereabouts, updates will now be less frequent. If he is seen again or captured, the public will be the first to know. We will continue to look for him.
Just FYI, our local parks, especially Clark Park, have been checked over and over and will continually be checked, including bathrooms.
This matter still remains an active Waller County Sheriffโ€™s Office investigation. Bellville PD, Austin County Sheriffโ€™s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety will continue our efforts in assisting to locate.
Thank you!
