This operation was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation conducted by the Westside High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Narcotics Task Force.

Two suspects, identified as Devan Langley (36) and Robert Green (41), were apprehended during the operation. They were arrested on active warrants for the charge of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1. A subsequent search of the suspects’ apartment led to the seizure of various narcotics, including methamphetamine, MDMA, and Xanax, along with a significant amount of United States currency. Additionally, a semi-automatic handgun was discovered inside the apartment, which was later confirmed as stolen.

The Westside Narcotics Task Force comprises investigators from multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville Police Department, Sealy Police Department, Hempstead Police Department, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The Austin County District Attorney’s Office provided valuable assistance in the investigation.
