Sealy Police are asking for the community’s assistance following a series of Sealy vehicle burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 29. Between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., multiple vehicles were broken into in the Westview and Shadowlake neighborhoods. Authorities are urging residents in those areas to review any available surveillance or Ring-style camera footage for signs of suspicious activity, particularly individuals walking through the neighborhoods during that time.

The Sealy vehicle burglaries have prompted the department to request that any relevant footage or eyewitness accounts be reported to their Criminal Investigation Division at 979-885-2913. The department also reminded the public of the importance of locking vehicle doors and removing valuables to help prevent future incidents.
