On Saturday, December 14, 2024, at approximately 10:57 a.m., Sealy Police Department officers responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Highway 90 West. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim who had been stabbed in the chest.
Following an initial investigation, authorities determined that the victim’s roommate was responsible for the stabbing and had fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition for treatment.
The following morning, a Sealy patrol officer observed the suspect’s vehicle returning to the scene. Officers detained the suspect without further incident.
The suspect, identified as Johandry Villalobos-Villalobos, age 28, was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence (FV). Villalobos-Villalobos also has an ICE Detention Hold.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
