The Buccaneers fell to 15-1 overall and 4-1 in region play. Kilgore improved to 12-4 overall and 3-2 in the region standings.
Blinn very nearly pulled off a comeback after trailing 25-15 at the end of the first quarter. The Buccaneers trailed 39-32 at the half and just 54-52 heading into the fourth period.
“It was a great team effort tonight,” Blinn head coach Jeff Jenkins said. “We missed some open 3-pointers, but I never get mad at missed shots; it happens to the best of players and teams.”
